My name's IZAN, as previously stated. I'm an 18 year old boy that lives in a small southern town in Spain. I use HE/THEY pronouns and I'm 5.58FT tall.
I enjoy most of my time DRAWING, LISTENING TO MUSIC, CREATING STUFF or HANGING OUT WITH MY FRIENDS. Pretty basic but I like doing small things that make me happy. I have an amazing PARTNER who I absolutely ADORE. They're really talented in the music field, and we make a great artist/musician duo.
Some of my HYPERFIXATIONS revolve around stuff from the 90's / 00's, specifically anything that has to do with electronics or media. I proudly own some second hand CONSOLES and COMPUTERS from this era, proudly displayed in a corner of my room with a CRT screen ready to play some funky videogames. I also adore LSD DREAM EMULATOR and ROLY-POLYS NO NANAKOROBI YAOKI; reasons why I say my gender expression revolves around old CGI and flash games. In resume, bright colors and 3D rendered shapes are funny!!!
I can't really define my aesthetic since I'm still working on finding a style I'm comfortable with, but I mostly mix Y2K, GRUNGE and URBAN clothing on the daily. I have a lot of clothing limitations due to where I live and my fear of doing things I will cringe to in a future. Meh, I'm slowly but surely working on it.
My music taste revolves around HARDCORE, GABBER and usually BREAKCORE. I enjoy every genre of music and can go from listening to underground bands to traditional spanish songs. I hyperfixate a lot on HALLEY LABS and listen to it daily. I also listen to YABUJIN, MACHINE GIRL, DIE ANTWOORD and GORESHIT, among other artists.
I used to be a big fan of books when I was younger, but now I'm picky with the media I consume. One of my favourite comic books, JTHM really helped me out figure who I am today. I love strange, weird and borderline obscure media I can dissect to figure out the meaning behind it. NEWGROUNDS is a goldmine to these type of content and also my childhood's favourite website. It inspires me to be a better (worse) person and let out my wacky creativity.
I recently was able to make my BEDROOM my one pride and joy. It's my little private corner of happiness I worked hard on to be the reflection of my PERSONALITY. Full of color, lava lamps, LED's, an inflatable dolphin, a shelve full of trinkets and stickers, an old TV with a bootleg NES to play my videogames and an abnormally tall bed. This is the place where I make most of my creations and spend most of my time doing nothing.
On the subject of ADULTHOOD, I want to make the most out of it as long as possible. My time on this planet is unsure but not long, so I want to be able, at least, of making myself proud of living instead of dreading my existence everytime I wake up. I am really jealous of people with supportive parents that get anything they need. It makes me want to pull my skin out and live as a floating orb that roams around making weird sounds without a care in the world. I have suffered long enough everyday so I'm slowly giving up on everything I enjoy. I'm not that popular anyways so I think people will get over it just fine; they have better things to do than pity my awful life.
So, I'm making this dumb blog to archive my thoughts and share it anonymously to the world. Can this be considered an ART PROJECT?
